Yes, our ceramics are 100% dishwasher safe.
Can I use your ceramics in my oven?
Yes, our ceramics are made from high fired stoneware, which makes them very resistant to rapid temperature changes. Tham makes them fridge to microwave and oven safe up to 220 C/428 F.
How does the modular stacking design work for your ceramics?
Each piece is designed to stack perfectly together and not slide off when moved horizontally. Use our Small Plates as a lid on our Pasta Bowls for easy food storage.
Will your plates fit in my dishwasher?
The height of the rim of our plates are 2cm (3/4in). They should fit in most dishwashers in the bottom rack. To be 100% certain, you should measure the width of the slots in your dishwasher.
Do your ceramics scratch easily?
No, our ceramics are designed to be durable and long-lasting. We've incorporated a semi-matte glaze to achieve the perfect balance of mark resistance and aesthetics.
In the rare case there are superficial grey marks, they can be removed easily with a gentle cleanser such as Barkeeper's Friends or a baking soda and water mixture. Use a mild abrasive sponge and scrub off the marks with ease.
We recommend upgrading to our cutlery sets if you find yours are marking on the first uses as the grey marks are metal residue left behind.
Do your ceramics contain any lead or heavy metals?
No, our ceramics are made in the EU and are certified to follow strict EU safety regulations. This ensures they are 100% free of lead and other harmful metals and chemicals.
How rust resistant are your cutlery sets?
Our cutlery sets are made from high quality 18/10 stainless steel, which offers the highest grade of rust resistance and anti-corrosiveness.
However, the knife is the most vulnerable to due to the extra hardness and ceramic marking resistance.
To maintain the condition of the knife:
- Do not use acidic detergents
- Dry immediately after wash
- Avoid using excess salt in dishwasher.
For extra care, handwash entire set with gentle cleanser and dry immediately for best results.
